Group bookings
To encourage group bookings, there is a 10% discount on a booking for five or more of the same delegate fee. This discount will apply to the end of the registration process.

Delegate liability for Value Added Tax (VAT)
All Summit delegates are liable to pay value added tax (VAT) at the standard rate of 21% in the Netherlands This VAT is due to be added to every delegate fee and dinner ticket irrespective of where the customer is based.
Claiming VAT refunds
VAT refunds for EU business delegates – delegates attending from any EU country are able to recover the Dutch VAT charged on delegate fees through what is known as the 8th EU Directive. Delegates can arrange this by submitting a claim through their local VAT office.
Delegates attending from businesses established outside the EU can recover Dutch VAT under the EU 13th Directive. Delegates should enquire through their local VAT office to determine the procedures involved.
Private individuals registering for the summit will not be entitled to reclaim this VAT via the Dutch authorities and should contact their local tax office to enquire about any possible refund.

What is included in the delegate fee?

- AMEC Awards 2014 and Summit Dinner on Thursday 12 June
- Access to speaker presentations accessible via a password protected internet site and are not supplied in a printed form. These will be available to download after the event, subject to speaker disclosure
What is included in the AMEC Awards 2014 and Summit Dinner?
- Canal barge cruise and drinks reception while being transported to the Awards from the hotel through Amsterdam’s historic canal network.
- Three course dinner in the exclusive, beautiful setting of the 17th century church, De Duif, with wine and water
- AMEC Awards 2014 ceremony
- Opportunity to continue the evening at the post-awards drinks reception
- Transport back to the Marriott Amsterdam at the end of the evening

Chris Foster, Vice President, Booz Allen Hamilton showed how media and metrics go hand in hand with a visual showing the Evolution of Communications Measurement, presented as part of his Summit paper on Return on Engagement.
