    Summit Headquarters

    The Amsterdam Marriott was Marriott’s first hotel outside the USA. The hotel is situated in the cultural heart of Amsterdam, surrounded by theatres, museums, cafes and restaurants. It is a five minute walk to many attractions including the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, the Vondelpark, the world heritage canal district and the vibrant Leidseplein.

    The meetings rooms have recently been upgraded into the new Marriott contemporary style with areas that have been created into state of the art, multi-functional meeting rooms, all on one floor. As a Summit delegate and guest at the hotel there will be ample space and opportunity to easily join Summit sessions, meet and work.

    There is complimentary WiFi in the lobby, bar and meeting rooms. Guests of the AMEC Summit also have complimentary internet access in their bedrooms.

    Schiphol Amsterdam Airport is one of the largest airports of Europe with more than 300 direct connections to cities all over the world. The airport is situated near Amsterdam with convenient access to the city and our hotel via public transport or taxi.

    The hotel is only 30 minutes from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport

    Rail
    Trains directly connect to Amsterdam Central Station every 15 minutes. The journey takes 15 minutes. Cost: €3.90
    From Amsterdam Central Station a taxi to the hotel costs €15 – €20
    From Amsterdam Central Station you can take tram 1, 2 or 5 to the Leidsesquare, which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

    Bus
    Bus 197 leaves from in front of the Airport arrivals hall which stops at the Leidsesquare in front of the hotel.  The journey takes 35 minutes. Cost: €2.98

    Discounted accommodation rates

    AMEC negotiated a special Summit room rate for all delegates from Saturday 7 June to Monday 16 June. AMEC is holding rooms at these rates until Tuesday 13 May. After Tuesday 13 May rooms will be available at these rates dependent on hotel availability. There is limited availability so we advise you book your room as soon as possible. This rate includes full American Buffet breakfast.
